Cost: $10 per week (covers food/craft)
This fall our original Set Apart Sisterhood curriculum is called Truth Talks and we will do exactly that. As sisters in Christ, we will have real, bold conversations about the tough questions and the lies girls today believe. We are creating a space where we can be open and honest with one another. No sugarcoating and no pretending. Just God’s truth breaking through the noise of the world.
Truth Talks is all about uncovering the lies the enemy uses to try and hold us back and learning practical ways to stand strong in the freedom and identity Christ died to give us. Each week we will tackle a different lie and replace it with truth while sharing our stories and struggles so no one feels alone. Together we’ll encourage one another, learn from how others are living out these truths, and grow stronger as a sisterhood.
Some of the topics we’ll be exploring include identity in Christ, building Bible confidence, faith that goes beyond feelings, and living boldly in a culture that challenges us.
Get ready to dive deep into what it really means to live with confidence in who God made you to be. You will discover fresh insights, build faith that sticks, and learn how to stand strong in a culture that often pressures us to compromise. Plus, you will have fun, meaningful moments with your sisters and trusted mentors as you journey together.
Our gatherings are designed to help your daughter grow in faith, build friendships, and have fun in a safe, welcoming space. Here’s a simple rundown of how our evenings flow so you know what to expect:
6:00 pm — Drop-off
We start promptly at 6 so the girls can settle in and get ready for the night ahead.
6:00 to 6:30 — Dinner and Games
A chance to enjoy a casual meal together and break the ice with some fun games.
6:30 to 7:30 — Biblical Teaching and Discussion
We dive into God’s Word and explore what it means to live set apart through engaging teaching, group conversations, and sometimes smaller breakout groups.
7:30 to 8:30 — Craft and Fellowship
Girls express creativity while building deeper connections in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
8:30 to 8:50 — Reflection, Prayer, and Journaling
A quiet time for the girls to listen to what Jesus is speaking to their hearts and write down their thoughts and prayers.
8:50 to 9:00 — Wrap-Up and Clean-Up
We end the evening by tidying up together and preparing for pick-up.
9:00 pm — Pick-Up
We ask that all girls be picked up promptly at 9 so we can close the space smoothly
Set Apart Sisterhood meets in three semesters each year: fall, spring, and summer. Our next semester kicks off with a fun meet-and-greet on September 5 and runs through November 21.
Along with our regular Bible study nights, we’ll have two special December events—a community outreach project and a festive holiday party. Throughout the year, we also host outreach and social events like evangelism opportunities, fundraisers, and celebrations.
We love supporting each other beyond meetings by attending extracurricular activities and cheering one another on. After registration, you’ll receive a detailed calendar by email and find it in our private Facebook group.
This fall, Truth Talks curriculum will guide girls through real questions and struggles they face every day. We’ll explore God’s truth about identity, faith, purpose, and living differently from the world. Each week’s topic helps girls build confidence in their faith and understand who they are in Christ.
We keep most of the lesson details a surprise, so each week feels fresh and exciting. Girls will also have opportunities to ask questions anonymously during Q&A sessions with trusted mentors.
We meet at our Founder Brooke Lloyd’s home on Friday nights from 6 PM to 9 PM. The address is sent out upon registration confirmation to provide privacy and protection to the girls and Brooke’s family.
We encourage girls to bring a Bible, the prayer journal provided on the first night, and an open heart ready to learn and connect. Also, be sure to check your weekly email to see if you need to bring anything else specific to that week.
Middle and high school girls who want to grow in their faith and friendships are welcome anytime during the semester.
The weekly fee is $10, which covers food and craft supplies and must be paid before registration is complete. We offer flexible monthly payment options and also discounts for semester payment in full. Ask us about sibling discounts, and scholarships if needed.
You’re welcome to drop your daughter off right at the door or come inside to say hello. Pick-up time is 9 PM unless you’ve made other arrangements with a leader.
Dinner is served from 6 to 6:30 PM each evening, so please try to arrive during that time so your daughter can enjoy the meal and fellowship with everyone. We ask that late arrivals plan accordingly, as we want to avoid disrupting Bible study time with trips to the kitchen. If your daughter will be arriving late, we can set aside food for her, but we need to know in advance.
Please keep in mind that we meet in a residential neighborhood where parking can be busy during pick-up and drop-off times. We appreciate your patience and care during these moments.
If transportation is a challenge for your daughter’s participation, please reach out to us. We want to help and will work with you to find a solution.
We have a “cell phone daycare” at the front of the house where girls can lovingly leave their “babies” while they enjoy uninterrupted time with each other. Rest assured their phones are carefully protected and cared for during this time.
Of course girls always have access to their phones if needed, especially for safety reasons. This is not a restriction but an encouragement to limit distractions and fully engage in the sisterhood experience.
WARNING! Prolonged face-to-face contact may result in belly laughs, meaningful eye contact, and spontaneous fun — participate at your own risk.
To create a safe and welcoming environment, all leaders complete background checks before serving. At least one leader present at every gathering is CPR certified. Throughout the event, girls are supervised by a minimum of two caring female adults committed to providing support and security.
Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns about safety, supervision, or anything else related to your daughter’s experience. We are here to support you and ensure your daughter feels secure and valued.
At Set Apart Sisterhood, we are committed to creating a safe, respectful, and uplifting environment where every girl can grow in faith and friendship. To protect this space, we ask all participants to:
Speak kindly and respectfully to others, guarding their words and heart posture
Listen with openness and empathy, valuing different experiences and perspectives
Avoid gossip, cliques, bullying, or any behavior that divides or harms others
Participate with honesty and humility, ready to learn and encourage
Respect leaders, volunteers, and the space where we gather
Honor confidentiality and privacy of everyone in the group
Support one another in love, holding each other accountable in grace
Embrace the journey together with patience and joy
For the safety and well-being of all, we reserve the right to ask anyone to step away from participation if their behavior disrupts or harms the community. This would always follow our conversations and efforts to address concerns directly. Any removal is a last resort and is made prayerfully with the goal of restoration.
We encourage all girls to dress in a way that honors themselves, each other, and God. Our hope is that everyone feels comfortable, confident, and respected while reflecting the beautiful identity we have as daughters of the King.
We ask that clothing choices be appropriate for a faith based community. Nothing that distracts or causes discomfort and that they promote an atmosphere of respect and unity. This helps us keep the focus on growing together in faith and friendship.
If you have any questions about what to wear, please feel free to reach out. We want every girl to feel supported, comfortable, and confident as she participates.
We want every girl to feel supported and included. If your daughter has any special needs or requires accommodations, please let us know. While we may not have specialized training or volunteers, we are committed to working closely with you to provide the best possible support. In some cases, parents may be invited to participate alongside their daughters to help ensure a positive experience.
We take food allergies and dietary restrictions very seriously. During registration, please be sure to let us know about any allergies or special dietary needs your daughter has. This information is essential to help us provide safe and suitable food options at every gathering.
If anything changes during the semester, please update us as soon as possible so we can continue to care for your daughter’s needs.
We love capturing the joy and growth in Set Apart Sisterhood through photos and videos during gatherings and events. These help us celebrate our community, share our story, support fundraising, and create a cherished sisterhood scrapbook.
Occasionally girls may be invited to join special photo shoots. Participation is optional and a fun way to highlight our sisterhood and mission.
Your daughter’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. If you have concerns about photos or videos please let us know so we can support her best. Since many activities involve group participation and photos throughout the event opting out completely may affect involvement or require alternatives.
If you would like copies of photos taken just ask. We are happy to share.
All participants and families will be asked to sign a photo and video release waiver during registration.
In case of a medical emergency, our first priority is to call 911 immediately. Our leaders are trained to stay calm and provide first aid as needed while waiting for professional help. Parents will be contacted promptly using the information provided during registration.
Please share any specific medical needs or emergency instructions for your daughter when you register, and keep us updated throughout the semester so we can continue to care for her safely.
Spaces fill quickly, so if you’re wanting to hang with us, be sure to get signed up today!
Reach out to us anytime at [email protected] or 512-814-9711. Brooke Lloyd, founder of Set Apart Sisterhood, is happy to help!
Answers to Frequently Asked Questions
Set Apart Sisterhood is for middle and high school girls who want to grow in their faith, build meaningful friendships, and live boldly for Jesus. This season of life is so important for girls as they discover their identity and faith. Whether your daughter is just starting her walk with Christ or already pursuing Him passionately, she will find a place here to belong, be embraced as she is, and grow alongside others learning what it means to live set apart.
We are a unique nonprofit community centered around weekly gatherings. At each of our get-togethers, girls share food and fellowship, dive into God’s Word together, build life-giving friendships, and explore their creativity through faith-inspired projects they get to take home. Beyond these gatherings, we also offer outreach events, evangelism opportunities, socials, and retreats designed to help girls grow deeper in their faith and connect with others who want to do the same.
Our weekly gatherings are typically drop-off style to help the girls build trust, independence, and strong community with one another. That said, we know trying something new can feel big for both moms and daughters. You are welcome to stay the first night if needed, or we can set up a quick meet and greet with our founder and her daughter to help your family feel at ease. Parents receive a weekly discipleship recap to continue conversations at home, and we host many special events throughout the year so you can stay involved and experience the joy of the sisterhood for yourself. If you are interested in serving while your daughter attends or feel called to be part of the ministry in any way, we would love to connect about volunteer opportunities.
Yes! Each gathering kicks off with 30 minutes of food and fellowship. We serve dinner every week along with fun, teen-friendly snacks. We aim to keep things nourishing and avoid artificial dyes, caffeine, and heavy amounts of sugar while still making it enjoyable for the girls. The cost of the group helps cover meals and crafts. If your daughter has any allergies or dietary needs, let us know when you register and we will do our best to accommodate. Because what’s a girls’ night without good food? If you would like to contribute to our snack stash, your support is always appreciated.
Set Apart Sisterhood currently meets at the private home of our founder in the Cedar Park/North Round Rock area. The address is shared upon registration to ensure a safe and secure environment for all our girls and families.
Absolutely! We love when the girls invite friends to join them. If your daughter has someone in mind who would enjoy the experience and benefit from being part of a Christ-centered community, she’s more than welcome to bring her for a visit. Guests are invited to attend one time before registering, so we can make sure it’s a great fit and help them feel at home. Just be sure to let us know ahead of time so we can plan accordingly with food and supplies. Space for our weekly gathering is limited, so if we’re not currently waitlisted, it’s a great time to come check it out and get registered.
Right now, the registration fee simply helps cover weekly meals and craft supplies. As a brand-new grassroots nonprofit, we’re committed to keeping things affordable while creating meaningful, Christ-centered gatherings for the girls. We’re not profiting from any part of this ministry, and every dollar goes directly back into making Set Apart Sisterhood possible. If you feel led to give above and beyond or help provide a scholarship for another family, your generosity is deeply appreciated. We’ll also be doing occasional fundraisers throughout the year to help meet ongoing needs and expand our reach.
We never want finances to be the reason a girl misses out on being part of Set Apart Sisterhood. If the cost feels like a burden right now, please don’t hesitate to reach out. While we can’t guarantee full scholarships for every request, we are committed to helping however we can and trust that if God is calling your daughter here, He will make a way. We also offer sibling discounts and a paid-in-full discount to help make things more accessible for families.
Absolutely. It is common for girls to join mid-season, often after being invited by a friend, and many choose to stay long-term because they find a sisterhood that feels like home. We will help your daughter catch up and feel comfortable with the group. We are happy to prorate fees based on when she starts.
While we encourage regular attendance to build strong friendships, we understand life gets busy. Your daughter is always welcome, even if she cannot make it every week. Just let us know what works best for your family.
Our weekly gatherings currently take place on Friday evenings to give the girls a chance to slow down, connect, and grow without the pressure of school or weekday routines. However, we understand that Fridays may not work for every family. We would love to keep you in the loop for future events that fit your schedule, such as our community outreach projects, evangelism opportunities, social gatherings, and other special events already on the calendar for the upcoming year. As the sisterhood continues to grow, our hope is to offer additional group times and gatherings that reflect different ages, interests, discipleship needs, and ways to connect.
While we love and support what youth groups offer through the local church, Set Apart Sisterhood is something truly unique. This is not just a place to show up and blend in. We are intentional about making sure every girl is seen and known, met right where she is, and invited to grow in her faith through personal discipleship and real connection. There is a depth and vulnerability here that often gets missed in larger group settings. After attending, many girls have shared that they have never experienced anything quite like it.
Set Apart Sisterhood is a Bible-believing, non-denominational ministry focused on helping girls build a personal relationship with Jesus and live a life that honors Him. Our teaching is rooted in the truth of God’s Word and reflects core Christian beliefs around identity, salvation, and discipleship. We’ve welcomed girls from many different church backgrounds and stages of faith, and we consider it a privilege to disciple and encourage each one on her journey to live set apart for Christ. While we never compromise on biblical truth, we are mindful and respectful when it comes to denominational differences, always honoring the role of parents as the primary spiritual leaders in their daughter’s life.
We are not affiliated with a specific church or denomination, but we take the responsibility of spiritually shepherding your daughter very seriously. If you have any questions about what we believe or teach, please reach out. We would love to have that conversation and are always committed to transparency and trust as we walk alongside your family in faith.
Set Apart Sisterhood is led by Brooke Lloyd, a Jesus-loving homeschooling mom with a heart for discipling the next generation, along with other trusted mentors who are equally passionate about pouring into girls with truth, grace, and intentionality. Each gathering is led with prayer, preparation, and care. To learn more about Brooke and read the Set Apart Sisterhood story, visit the Meet the Founders page.
If you’d like to connect or meet Brooke personally, please don’t hesitate to reach out. She loves getting to know families and is here to support you every step of the way.
Each week, we open God’s Word and help girls understand what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives. Our teaching is rooted in Scripture and focuses on identity, character, spiritual growth, and living set apart. We revisit core topics girls this age need such as identity, friendship, emotions, peer pressure, purpose, and faith while keeping the content fresh through original, age-appropriate curriculum.
Each gathering also includes a creative craft or activity that ties everything together and gives the girls space to reflect, build friendships, and just have fun with others their age in a Christ-centered environment.
This semester, we are diving into Truth Talks, a series designed to help girls recognize the lies they are tempted to believe and replace them with the truth of who God is and who He says they are.
You can view upcoming lesson themes under the Join a Group tab on our website.
**If you or your daughter ever have an idea for a topic you would love to see us cover or something she is struggling with and wishes someone would talk about, send it our way. We are always listening and love shaping future lessons around what matters most to the girls we serve.
As the mother of a teenager, our founder understands how important it is for parents to know what’s happening in their daughter’s spiritual journey. We believe partnering with parents is vital. You will receive weekly recaps with key Scriptures and ways to continue the conversation at home. We also send updates about events, volunteer opportunities, and ways to stay connected throughout the semester. Our founder stays closely connected with families to understand their unique needs, offer prayer, and support what you’re already teaching. We also have a private Facebook group and other communication channels to keep families connected and informed. We believe in walking alongside each family personally, providing encouragement and help in the areas you need it most. You are welcome to be as involved as you want, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
We are deeply grateful for anyone who feels called to support the ministry during this exciting season of growth. We know God is moving and preparing hearts for the work ahead. Nothing we do can bear lasting fruit without keeping Him at the center and inviting others to walk alongside us. With that in mind, we are prayerfully seeking the right partners who will help lay a strong foundation for the sisterhood and pour into the lives of the next generation of girls.
Time and Talent
Much of the ministry is currently carried by our founder and her family, so we long for moms and families to join hands with us as we grow. We know everyone’s availability and gifts look different, so whether you have the desire to serve through one of these ways or another, we would love to hear from you. Here are a few of our current needs:
• Mentorship and biblical discipleship
• Event coordination
• Chaperoning community events
• Craft prep and supply organization
• Serving at our weekly gatherings
• Fundraising
• Supporting behind the scenes with important tasks that keep things running smoothly
You are invited to be part of this vibrant sisterhood where you’ll find encouragement, purpose, and joy. We are confident your yes will have an eternal impact.
Treasure
If your schedule is full but you feel called to support the ministry, your generosity is deeply appreciated. Donations can include snacks and drinks, items from our supply wishlist, or monetary gifts. These contributions help meet immediate needs and, most importantly, provide scholarships for girls who might not be able to participate otherwise. Scholarships are a crucial part of our mission to ensure every girl has the opportunity to be part of the sisterhood. Your support also helps us invest in future projects and the vision God has given us to grow and expand this ministry. We encourage you to reach out before donating so we can coordinate and ensure your gift has the greatest impact.
No matter how you contribute, your role matters. Together, we will raise a generation of daughters who are rooted in faith, overflowing with joy, and boldly shining the love of Jesus in a world that desperately needs it.
